Grandiose Grey

This is another fun polish from the Decked Out Dandy Holiday/Winter 2020 collection from Artistic Nail Design. Trousers To Rouse Her is a medium grey crème that is cool both in hue and style. 

Polish Used:

• Artistic Colour Gloss - Trousers To Rouse Her
• Base and top coats

Other Supplies:

• Gold nail foil
• Nail foil adhesive
• UV/LED lamp

I had to do a couple layers of the grey gel polish which then made a height difference compared to the gold foil. To avoid this on your own mani, use a clear coat to build up the tips. To create this look:

1. Apply gel base coat and cure.
2. Apply nail foil adhesive to the tips of each nail. Once the adhesive is set (the one I use turns clear), apply gold nail foil.
   
3. Paint grey gel polish on each nail, leaving a nice gold french tip. The Artistic Nail Design polishes have a thick, rounded brush, so I didn't need a separate nail art brush. But if you are worried about the precision, use a nail art brush to create the french tip and fill in.
   
4. Apply top coat and cure.
